Questions

What does non-stimulant mean here?

The label calls the formula non-stimulant, and the panel lists no caffeine.

Can I take three a day?

No. The label says not to exceed two capsules a day.

Does it interact with metformin or insulin?

It may. The label says berberine and chromium can add to the effect of glucose-lowering medicines. Talk to your physician and monitor your blood sugar.

Why does the label mention shellfish twice?

The allergen advisory warns that its chitosan is derived from shellfish, and another printed line says it is not manufactured with shellfish ingredients. We have asked the manufacturer which is right. Until they answer, assume it contains shellfish.
